Probability

The input for these calculations is restricted to non-negative integers.

• calculates the number of possible sets of y different items taken x at a time.
• calculates the number of possible different arrangements of y different items taken x at a time.
• calculates the factorial of the displayed number.
• calculates the gamma of the displayed number.
• returns a pseudo-random number between 0 and 1.

For example,

1. Press to calculate the number of different five-card hands that can be dealt from a deck of cards (2,598,960).
2. Press to calculate the factorial of 10 (3,628,800).
3. Press to calculate the gamma of 10 (362,880).
4. Press to generate a number between zero and one.
5. Press to generate a different number between zero and one.
